My sister was always the most unusual girl in the family because she really excelled at some areas that were traditionally male dominated.  When she was in high school, she was already considered one of the more prominent hard rock and heavy metal guitarists in the whole area.  In college she fell in love with jazz, and once again truly excelled at that.  Today she showed me some chicken picking type guitar music and I was really stunned at how different it is from what she was doing before.  She said that she is still learning, but that it is a whole lot of fun.
