My construction company does a lot of road work for the government. It’s good steady work and it pays really well, so I appreciate every new assignment and so do all my crew. When our recent opportunity came along, we jumped at the chance to have a year’s worth of steady work. It isn’t easy, and we’ll need to employ bridge cranes for some of the heavier lifting jobs, but there is nothing more rewarding than driving across a new stretch of highway and a shiny new bridge system that you put in place. I really love my job in spite of the long hours and hard work.
