Who Makes Aircraft Preliminary Design Tools?

March 6th, 2010 . by admin

Before parts are actually made for aircraft there is a lot of prototype and aircraft preliminary design tools built before production can begin. Many parts are made from castings and then sent to machine shops to get the final machining completed. Other parts are machined completely at machine shops that have been approved to do the job. There is a lot of work involved and there are a lot of new methods for the preliminary design tools. The process is a lot shorter than it used to be because of the automated preliminary steps in the process. There are a lot of different types of jobs in this field.
