People Imitating Michael Jackson Dancing

September 3rd, 2010 . by admin

My sister-in-law’s eight-year-old son is a fan of Michael Jackson. He would imitate him from his looks to his movements. He would even imitate michael jackson dancing on stage while he was wearing his famous black hat and robe. My nephew would always dance the same steps over and over until he would get really  tired and end up in bed. He even watched his “This is It” concert with us when it was being shown in movie theaters. During the movie, my nephew wasn’t able to stop himself dancing along with MJ when his idol was already dancing his famous dance steps.

What You Learn in Performing Arts Schools Doesn’t Always Help

August 27th, 2010 . by admin

Going on an audition as an actor is one of the hardest things to do. Many well know, great actors have gone on record as saying they are terrible at auditioning. It is a real, unrealistic situation and not the ideal place to try and get a job. That being said, it is still the way they do it in the entertainment business. All things you learn in Performing Arts Schools don’t real help “in the room.” Just remember: 1) They want to you to be right for the role. They would like nothing more to stop the casting process, 2) Move on after the audition. You are not going to get almost all of the auditions you go on. 3) You may not have been right for that role, but if you did a good job, they will remember and bring you in for something else down the road.

Learn the Blues Guitar Basics then Piece them Together

August 13th, 2010 . by admin

I like going to the local blues clubs in my town. I especially love blues guitar players. They seem to have so much soul. I watch in amazement as most of them play crazy lead parts like it’s nothing to them. What I didn’t realize until I started taking some blues guitar lessons is that they have me fooled. I bought a set of blues dvds that were aimed at the beginner, so I though I’d take quite some time to reach the level of playing these guitarists are at. I was surprised that after a month I was piecing together solos that I had never thought I’d be playing. It turns out that the blues, and music as a whole, is a group of basic principles and topics pieced together to make up the more technical sounds that we all stare in awe at.

Which dish is better or cheaper?

July 24th, 2010 . by admin

For people like me it matters how much you spend monthly on what I call luxuries. I find having hundreds of channels to watch on television a needless expense so I have to go for the cheapest I can find. They also have to offer quality service at the same time. This is how I ended up finding out the differences between dish tv vs direct tv and which one offered me the best value for my money. I found only one of them was for me and maybe the other is best for you who knows but you have to check it out before buying.
