Does the phrase Classical Music Games sound like nonsense? It did to me, but not any more! It’s “funny” to notice how, as our children grow, they learn a great deal from us, but eventually we too realize that we are learning a great deal from them and through them. I have always liked the music of Mozart (who doesn’t?), but I remained cold toward other classical music, like Bach or Tchaikovsky. Then, though my children, I discovered the awesome wonders of classical music games. I realize now that even in liking Mozart, I did not really understand his music. These games have taught me the simple basics of classical music, but most especially how to listen to it and what to listen for. My love of music has been revived and boosted to new heights!
