Who Can Develop Cold Sores?
December 31st, 2009 . by adminAnyone who is exposed to Herpes Simplex (HSV) can have cold sores. If your immune system is weak, you can get the blisters that are more severe and longer lasting. Most cases are children between 1 to 3 years old with high fever and blisters throughout their mouth and their ability to eat is badly affected.
They can be treated with oral and topical medications that are oftentimes costly. Others employ cold sore home remedies that are less expensive to counter the painfull and lasting effects of the blisters – like rubbing ice or applying warm tea bags, aloe vera gel or oil on the infected areas.
