I wish that credit cards were not available to young people. My son recently graduated from college and has three credit cards. I told him to keep his spending under control and to make sure that he is able to pay off the balance each month. I do not think that he is listening to me at this time. I saw his apartment which is filled with new electronic gadgets and furniture. I mentioned to him one more time that debt can get him into a real sticky situation that is difficult to get out of. I am hoping that he is listening although I think he may have to learn this lesson the hard way.
