Quail hunting in Florida is a practice that has been exercised for many centuries. Quail hunting in Florida is allowed during specific season, this is why the practice will not go to end soon. The law also restricts hunters to hunt fixed number of quails in a day.

The latest law restricts hunters to hunt 12 quails in a day and also limits them to have not more than 24 quails in the possession at a time. Though it looks a bit rigid but these laws are enforced to maintain healthy environment and protect this precious creature.

The license requirement for quail hunting in Florida is not only for locals but also for other hunters.
