Well, quite a lot, is the answer! Celebrations are going on right across Ireland for St Paddy’s Day on the 17th of March and Limerick is no exception. The town will be celebrating its St Patrick’s Springfest, which is a week-long party with an exciting calendar of events for both young and old alike, including music, dance, market stalls, street theatre, comedy and much more. The Limerick city St Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the highlights of the event, and will involve community, school, sports, arts and volunteer groups marching under the theme of ‘Irish Myths & Legends’. Well worth a visit.
